 Decentralized finance (DeFi) is a form of finance that does not rely on central financial intermediaries such as any governments or banks . Instead it makes use of blockchain technology. DeFi platforms allows to borrow or lend funds or digital assets. DeFi applications endorse certain amount of interest rates. Most of the DeFi platforms make use of decentralized apps, These dapps use a series of smart contracts to maintain transactions, making them more faster, efficient and often affordable as compare to centralized apps. Most importantly no banks are involved in any decentralized transactions.
